Onochie's Appointment is a reward for your betrayal, Ohanaeze taunts PDP

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has described the recent “vituperative attacks” by PDP Chieftains and their sympathizers on the appointment of Lauretta Onochie as National Commissioner of Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, “as medicine after death and a reward for PDP National Leadership for the betrayal against Igbo Presidency Project”.

In an electronic statement made available to Fresh Angle International this afternoon, OYC, declared: “Those crying Foul play on her appointment are just treacherous People who recently murdered 2023 Igbo Presidency Project, through killing of PDP'S Zoning Formula enshrined in the Party's Constitution and opted for an Open Contest for PDP Presidential Ticket. 

“Atiku Abubakar, Nyemso Wike, Uche Secondus and PDP are aware that Lauretta Onochie's Appointment is God's Blessings for Nigerians and Punishment against Prospective Election Riggers, Igbo Youths Urge the Senate to confirm all the President Muhammadu Buhari's Nominees for National Commissioners INEC, as they are Answered Prayers of Nigerians to avert Election Riggers from hijacking INEC”. 

The statement which was signed by President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and the Secretary-General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, added : “We Congratulate Lauretta Onochie, Special Assistant on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari and Igbo daughter of Anioma Extraction of Delta State on her Appointment as National Commissioner of Independent Electoral Commission(INEC) , Igbo Youths described her appointment as well deserved and reward for hard-work, bravery and vigour displayed in the line of Duty”.
