Press on like Agbani Darego, Tidi tasks 2020 Most Beautiful Face in Nigeria

The Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Dr. Michael Tidi, has advised the newly crowned Most Beautiful Face in Nigeria, Miss Sarah Toritseju Pessu, not to end as the Most Beautiful Face in Nigeria, but to press on like Agbani Darego for global recognition.   

                       

The Chairman, gave the advice Thursday October 15, when Miss Sarah Toritseju, paid him a courtesy visit at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat in Warri, Delta State.

 

The visit was to solicit for the Chairman's assistance for her pet project tagged: "Hope to the Vulnerable", as well as to visit her place of origin, Warri South Local Government Area. 

 

Dr. Tidi, said being the most beautiful does not require only beauty, but as well as being intelligent, which he noticed in the queen.

 

He implored the Queen to look beyond ethnicity while selecting beneficiaries and vulnerable in eradicating hunger and driving development.

 

The Beauty Queen, thanked Dr. Tidi, for the opportunity and support, promising to press on for greater glory.

An Uncle to the Queen, who was a former Deputy Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Hon. Richard Pessu, thanked the Chairman and requested for support of the State Government and Traditional Rulers to achieve her dream. 

 

Highlight of the visit was when the Warri South Council Director of Personnel Management, Dr. (Mrs) Minnie Igbrude, presented a gift from the Local Government Council to the Queen.

The Vice Chairman of Warri South, Chief (Mrs.) Divine Iniovosa, Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye and Supervisors in the Council, were on ground when the Queen and her delegation visited.
