Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael E. Tidi, says former President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor, has exemplified the principle of Jesus Christ, which blends preaching the undiluted gospel of the word of God with addressing human welfare needs.
Dr. Tidi, made the assertion in a goodwill message released Tuesday November 10, in celebration of the birthday anniversary of Pastor Oritsejafor.
The Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, noted that apart from making Warri a global capital for the gospel, by bringing prominent gospel preachers to minister God's word in the Oil City, Pastor Oritsejafor has contributed immensely in projecting the accurate narrative of Warri as hospitality haven and investment destination.
He mentioned various scholarship and human capital investment programmes as well as community development initiatives, as areas through which Pastor Oritsejafor has been uplifting the welfare of people and contributing to the socio - economic growth of the country.
While praying God to continually bless the foremost gospel minister and former President of Penticostal Fellowship of Nigeria, CAN with good health and longevity, Dr. Tidi stated: " People of Warri, are proud to have Pastor Oritsejafor as one of our own".
