Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has advised the management of Mega FM Warri, 89.1, to communicate more with its host community, Okere, so as to foster a better relationship.
Dr. Tidi, gave the advice Friday November 27, when he played host to a delegation from the Warri based Media outfit, led by the Station’s General Manager, Lady Ejiro Umukoro.
The Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, flanked by Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, enjoined management of the FM to engage more with people within its area of operation, while sustaining its broadcast standard.
General Manager of Mega FM, Warri, Lady Umukoro, recalled efforts by her management to carry the youth leadership of Okere Community along in terms of recruitment processes and the challenges faced by the station.
She intimated Dr. Tidi of plans by the media house to organize a road show in Warri and environs, with a view to sensitizing people of the area about their operations.
