The member representing Warri South Constituency 2 in Delta State House of Assembly, has urged Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to immediately stop alleged plot by some individuals to substitute the name of Mr. Elvis Okpako Eboh with that of an outgoing councilor.

Eboh, was purportedly cleared by 11 out of a 14 - man panel as the PDP Councillorship Candidate for Ward 9 in Warri South Local Government ahead of the March 6, 2021 Delta State Local Government poll.

The lawmaker, who made the call Thursday December 24 in Warri, when he led protesters to the Delta South Senatorial Office of the PDP in Warri, cautioned against imposing a third term aspiring councilor on him and other members of Ward 9, after majority members of the 14 - man panel, he as leader of the ward and the ward chairman endorsed the candidacy of Mr. Elvis Okpako," who is a grassroots mobilizer and chairman of the forum of supervisors of local government councils in Delta State."

According to Hon. Opuoru, but for his intervention on the planned substitution of Eboh's name at Asaba, tempers would have escalated in his ward, " because most party faithful in the ward swore to defend the candidacy of Elvis Eboh with everything humanly possible".
