Younger sibling to late Carol Uku , Miss Oti Uku says the Uku family of Okere in Warri South local government area received the death of their 34 year old daughter via an unidentified man who called their mother on phone with a private mobile number, informing her of Carol’s death.According to Oti Uku, Carol who has two male children, Ogbankomi and Nelson left home at about7pm Sunday March 4 , only for her to receive the shocking news in the early hours of Monday March 5 that her elder sister is dead. She told Fresh Angle in an exclusive chat that when the corpse of Carol was brought to the compound Monday March 5, they discovered that her two legs were broken, while no part of her body was mutilated.
Our Senior Correspondent who got to the Uku family compound in Okere , reports that Carol’s corpse had already been deposited at the Warri Central Hospital morgue as at 9am Monday March 5, while authorities of the ‘A’ Division of Nigeria Police vowed to bring the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.
Investigations reveal that the body of late Carol Uku was found along the NPA Expressway close to Delta State government house in Warri.
The spot where Carol ‘s corpse was found was a safe haven for ritualists many years ago, while lunatics usually use that same area as comfortable abode.
Fresh Angle can also report that the mother of late Carol relocated to Benin City, Edo State since the death of her husband barely two years ago.
The late Carol Uku assisted her mother who was a food vendor before she relocated to Benin.The Uku family is one of the most prominent in Ode-Kporo quarters ,Okere.
