The leadership of Delta South Dynamic Ladies, DSDL, on Saturday January 9, stormed Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West Local Government Area in Delta State, to identify with the political class and other organizers of Amafini Festival, Ogbe-Ijoh.
Coordinator of DSDL, Sybil Orejemite Owumi, told Fresh Angle International during an exclusive chat that the essence of attending the festival, which was the first public appearance of Delta South Dynamic Ladies, was aimed at broadening their political network and further advancing the philosophy of promoting more women representation in government.

While describing the outing as successful, Owumi disclosed that the next agenda of DSDL, is to embark on aggressive membership drive across Bomadi, Burutu, Patani, Isoko North, Isoko South, Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North Local Government Areas, so as to bring more women into the group.

Recall that during their inauguration, the Coordinator of DSDL thanked Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for empowering more women, “compared to the previous administration”, and canvassed for more women representation in government, saying, “the pressure group consists of gallant, trusted and tested grassroots PDP women in Delta South”.
