Mother of two, Blessing in police custody for allegedly killing her lover

A mother of two children said to be in her late 20s, Miss Blessing, otherwise addressed as Osame, is in the custody of the Nigerian Police 'A' Division Warri, Delta State, over allegations she murdered her 34 - year old lover, Sylvester Etsebangharo Ighomi, between 4 and 5 am today, Saturday January 23.

Fresh Angle International, can report that the suspected homicide occurred behind Ugbuwangue Town hall in Warri, following arguments that ensued between Blessing and Sylvester, regarding N1, 700 needed to sew the school uniform of Tuoyo, the first of two children they gave birth to as lovers.

Tuoyo, a newly admitted primary 1 pupil of Isibovwe Primary School Warri, told This Newspaper that her mother who has petty provision/ liquor shop at Ajamimogha, Warri, hit her father at the back of his head and back with the heel of one of her shoes, following heated argument between the duo and her father, Sylvester fell flat on the floor, with his face hitting the ground straight.

Family sources and neighbours, including Mr. Stephen Okoh, stated that the late Sylvester, a member of Ugbuwangue Youth executive, allegedly gave his lover, Blessing N1,500 out of N1,700 requested by her to sew the uniform of Tuoyo, promising to give her the balance N200 later, but that didn't sit well with Blessing, who allegedly demanded for the complete money, leading to the fight that may have claimed the life of Sylvester, who had a child before hooking up with Blessing few years ago.

A sister of Sylvester, who alongside Blessing rushed Sylvester to a nearby clinic in Ugbuwangue, before they were referred to Central Hospital Warri, told Your Soaring International Tabloid that her brother was confirmed dead on arrival by medics at the Central Hospital Warri, with injury at the back of his head and right ribs.

Neighbours claimed the two lovers, having a second child by the name Joshua, occasionally quarreled and settled their differences, after interventions by family members and friends.
