As part of efforts to tackle fire outbreaks in the country, the Federal Fire Service has reportedly taken delivery of an Aerial Firefighting Truck (54m) specifically designed for high rise building firefighting and rescue operations.
Announcing the development few minutes ago via its official twitter handle, the Federal Fire Service explained that as part of the contract agreement, the manufacturers are to immediately commence the training of firefighters and pump operators on the use of the equipment.
Fresh Angle International understands that the Hon. Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, will commission the State-Of-The-Art Firefighting Truck soon.
