Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has described the newly commissioned Dick Tiger Road and surrounding streets, which were flood-prone and swallowed up many houses, resulting to loss in real estate value, as an example of what the APC government can do for people of the South East.
Governor Uzodimma, who made the statement via its verified twitter handle, Wednesday April 7, noted that the 28-year story of misery of residents and motorists around Dick Tiger Road and surrounding streets, has changed.
“The infrastructural projects we're handling at the moment, the roads, especially, are rather very strategic ones due to the socio- economic sustainability they provide the people of the state.

“I recall with nostalgia the former condition of the Dick Tiger road and surrounding streets which were flood-prone and swallowed up many houses, resulting to loss in real estate value.
“I am glad that the 28 year story of misery has changed for the residents and motorists in the area. This is an example of what the APC government can do for people of the South East, as Imo is the torch bearer of the party in the region.
“The commissioning was done by the Vice President, His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and witnessed by other dignitaries”, the Governor stated.
