Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Dr. Michael Tidi, has tasked local government workers in Warri South to step up their productivity and come up with ideas capable of boosting the revenue profile of the council.
Dr. Tidi, who gave the charge in a statement to mark this year's workers' day, rejoiced with staffers of Warri South Local Government Council and enjoined them to keep optimism alive as regards improved welfare, saying the current economic challenge in the country requires the deep thinking of both the political and civil service classes, to fashion out ways of resetting the economy on a progressive trajectory that would gaurantee better staff welfare and more conducive working environment.
While assuring that his administration is more determined to provide people of Warri South Local Government Area the needed quality grassroots governance, Dr. Tidi, promised to continually jaw - jaw with the leadership of NULGE in Warri South Council in taking decisions that affect staff welfare.
