Hon Efe Afe Splashes cash to Constituents

400 youths and vulnerable women in Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Local Government Areas in Delta State, on Tuesday June 29, reportedly received a minimum of  fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) each, as empowerment from the member Representing Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Efe Afe.

Fresh Angle International understands that the presentation was done during a training and cash empowerment of the constituents, organized by the lawmaker.

While addressing his constituents during the training and cash grant empowerment of the youths and vulnerable women, Hon Afe, used the event to highlight some of his achievements in the past two years at the National Assembly, to include provision of transformers, water projects, distribution of tricycles as well as sewing and grinding machines.

The Federal Lawmaker, explained that the empowerment programme was geared towards reducing poverty in his constituency.

He enjoined the 400 Beneficiaries to make good use of the largesse to improve their standard of living.

According to Hon. Afe: The need to amend the provision of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to give more powers and responsibilities to Local Government Councils and other related matters; bill to amend the provision of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, to create state security outfits and for other related matters as well as a bill to establish Federal University of Agriculture Technology, Orerokpe and for related matters, were initiated and sponsored by him.

Delta State PDP Chairman, Chief Kingsley Esiso, while commending Hon. Afe for the gesture, advised the beneficiaries, “to continue to support PDP and woo others to the party”.

Chief Esiso, urged the constituents to sustain their prayers for Hon. Afe, to enable him attract more development to Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Local Government Areas.
