Delta APC Okays the Delta South Stakeholders /Unity Meeting Convened by Dr. Alex Ideh

The attention of the state executive committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Delta State has be drawn to an evil machination, published and circulated by a Serial imposter, Barr. Imonina Sylvester, an agent of doom, whose sole purpose, is to pull APC down in Delta State, by fanning the embers of disunity and discord amongst APC faithful in Delta State.

The party leadership therefore wants to state categorically that;

(1), The Stakeholders meeting slated for htomorrow July 2nd 2021, by the good people of Delta South Senatorial district, which would be hosted by the party eminent leader from Delta South, DR. Alex Ideh, is a welcome development, that has the backing of the party, since it is convened in good faith, to grow the party in the right direction.

(2), That the State Executive Committee Members met, and a Two Third (2/3) majority of the State Executive Officers, agreed that the meeting is long overdue, thus supports and appreciates the State Vice Chairman, Delta South Senatorial District, Mr. Tosan Awani, Dr. Alex Ideh, the elders and leaders of Delta South, for their proactive steps and initiative to call for a unity meeting of the stakeholders of the party within their Senatorial District, a feat the docile State Chairman, Mr. Jones Ode Erue, could not achieve, even though he hails from the same Delta South Senatorial District.

(3), The State Vice Chairman, Delta South, Mr. Tosan Awani and the leaders of Delta South, do not need any permission from anybody for them to call for the meeting of their Senatorial District, the Senatorial Chairman and leaders of the party in the district, have the constitutional powers to hold their Senatorial meetings at anytime without seeking for permission from any individual, in the party within the state.

It is therefore very important to note that, the party has been under hostage by Jones and his allies, putting members under duress to do their biddings, to ensure the party remains within their wimps and grip, to achieve their evil plots for the party.

Thus, in the interest of the party in Delta State, we are therefore calling on the National Caretaker Committee, headed by His Excellency, Mai Mala Bumi, to call on the Delta State Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mr. Jones Ode Erue and his sponsors, to desist from this act of disunity and plot to kill the party in Delta State, in order to achieve their "Plan B", by using his Media Aide, one Barr. Imonina Sylvester, to write on behalf of APC Delta, as the publicity Secretary, fanning the embers of disunity in the party and creating factions that put the party in a very bad spotlight in the state.

The party therefore urges all delegates to the meeting, to fully participate, speak in one voice, make the party proud and conduct yourselves in good manner, as enshrined in the constitution of our great nation.

Once again, we congratulate the delegates going for the meeting and wish you all, fruitful deliberations in the interest of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.
