Olu of Warri Tussle: We have taken steps to address the undoing, Ologbosere Emami declares

The Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayrimi Emami, says the Ologbotsere Descendants, have taken steps to address," the undoing surrounding my purported suspension as the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, by a faction of the Ginuwa 1 Ruling House."

 

Our Senior Correspondent, reports that Chief Ayirimi Emami made the declaration, Saturday July 10, during, "The Ologbotsere Day and hosting of the Ologbotsere Descendants", at Ologbotsere Hall in his palatial home in Warri, Delta State.

 

He stated: "My position is to uphold Itsekiri Culture, the only thing Itsekiri Nation understands is law and order.

 

"A lot of people are ignorant that our kingdom was in existence before 1979 edict was amended."

Chief Emami advised Itsekiri people to be calm, saying within a short time, he will announce the next direction they will follow.

 

Ologbotsere Emami & other Chiefs

 

A member of Giniwa 1 Ruling House, Chief Akoma Dudu - Dimeyin, backed the decision of Ologbotsere Emami to head to court "to upturn the wrong doing by a faction of the Giniwa 1 Ruling House," which announced the controversial suspension of Ologbotsere Emami and the Olu of Warri succession process.

Prince Mode Akoma, who also spoke at the gathering, stated: "Chief Ayirimi Emami, remains the Ologbotsere of Warri and there is nothing anybody can do about it. He was installed by the king (the departed Ogiame Ikenwoli) and we, the Ologbotsere Descendants will continue to hold meetings at his place."

 

Other members of the Ologbotsere family present, expressed support for Ologbotsere Emami, urging him to go to court to seek redress.

 

Fresh Angle International can report that the event, was attended by the Akulagba of Warri, Chief Samuel Omamuli, Chief Michael Odeli, Chief Richmond Macgrey, Comrade Alex Eyengho - Spokesman of Ologbotsere Descendants, Chief Billy Besigiwa,

Chief Eyitemi Arthur Diden, members of Ologbotsere Descendants as well as other sons and daughters of Itsekiri Nation.
