The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Fatima Kabir Buba has eulogised the exemplary leadership of the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government area, Hon. Muhammed Dan'asebe, describing him as a leader who has distinguished him self from others in Kogi State.
Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that Hon. Buba, while felicitating with the Lokoja Local Government Chairman in a statement she personally signed on Thursday on his 45th birthday celebration noted that his achievement in the Local Government speaks volumes compared to what was obtainable in the past.
She lauded Dan'asebe for building on the footprint of the executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yabaya Bello, adding that, the residents and People of Lokoja Local Government have been sleeping with their two eyes closed through his concerted efforts in securing the lives and properties of the Local Government.
Buba explained further that the Local Government Chairman has continued to touch lives by making electorates fill the through dividends of democracy through policies and programs that has transformed and reposition Lokoja Local Government to the global map of emulation.
" We celebrate a true Democrat who has put our Local Government to a pedestal of greatness. As you celebrate this auspicious day in your life, may Almighty Allah continue to give you your heart desires and enable you pilot the affairs of our Local Government to an enviable height.
" Since the inception of Lokoja Local Government, we have not seen a leader that has touched the lives of thousands of Lokoja People. Words alone can not express our gratitude in your efforts in making Lokoja look like another Rome in Kogi State.
" Your victory at the chairmanship polls in our Local Government didn't come as a surprise. Just like Oliver Twist, we will keep demanding for more. Keep on with the good work and the legacies of our excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and our would be President, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. We are very optimistic that, you would do more for our Local Government, State and Nigeria in general. Once again, congratulations for achieving what many in our history could not attained. We are proud of you" She noted.
