A Lagos based businessman, Mr. Toju Amorighoye has distanced himself from the publication by a certain Newsrainng.com, wherein he was purported to have called on the Ologbotsere of Warri, Chief Ayirimi Emami, to retrace his steps and ask for forgiveness of Itsekiri people, describing the publication as criminal and wicked, giving the online medium: “72 hours to refute the said publication or face the full wrath of the Law”.
Amorighoye, who handed down the warning today, Tuesday July 20, in a telephone chat, said: “I never wrote such article, nor did I authorize anyone to write any opinion on my behalf. I wish to state unequivocally that as an ethical and well-seasoned Itsekiri elite, issues bothering on our coveted crown and the state of the Warri kingdom, are not to be trivialized by being bantered on pages of newspapers, blogs and social media”.
