The NYSC National Environmental Sanitation Exercise, tagged, 'A Clean Environment promotes good Health, Lets clean our Environment together' kicked off today, Saturday July 24, at Ogbe-Ijoh, headquarters of Warri South-West Local Government Area in Delta State.

Our Warri South - West Correspondent, reports that Corps Members were seen clearing debris, over-grown weeds and opening up drains in various parts of the town, especially at the waterfront as the refuse not only posed danger of flood waters rising, but pollution as well.

The Exercise, believed to be the first of many to come, started with a Rally, Friday July 23, to sensitize the people of the area on the Environmental Sanitation Exercise.

The NYSC National Environmental Sanitation Exercise comes on the background of Sanitation and beautification efforts of the Hon Tuoyo -led administration.
