Ndokwa West Local Government Council in Delta State, yesterday, Tuesday August 31, embarked on the sanitization of the popular Afia Ogbe Market in Kwale, Fresh Angle International can report.
The clean-up carried out by the Council’s Environment Department, was sequel to a directive by the Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Chief Obi Nzeti.
Our Kwale Correspondent, alongside an Information Officer in the Council, Mrs. Beauty Annantram, report that the exercise was part of efforts by the Chief Nzeti’s administration to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, on healthcare.
The exercise, was supervised by Mr. Mike Dike of Council’s Environment Department and the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Opone Ikechukwu, to ensure that the special clean-up was effectively executed, even as some of the market women, reportedly commended the initiative.
