Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, this morning, Wednesday September 22, terminated the appointment of Hon. Emmanuel Folorunsho Olorunfemi, as Commissioner, Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, KOSIEC.
Recall that Olorunfemi, was earlier suspended by the Kogi State House of Assembly, over alleged gross misconduct.
Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that the sack of Olorunfemi, followed a recommendation to Governor Bello by the Kogi State House of Assembly, after the House conducted investigation of allegations leveled against him.
Meanwhile, Governor Bello has appointed Hon. George Funsho Ojo as the new Commissioner of Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, from Kabba/Bunu.
