The people of Bomadi Local Government area have been urged to collectively support the State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan in his bid to conduct a peaceful and credible local government polls in the state come October 25.
The Chairmanship flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Bomadi local government area, Chief Oluwole Karetimi Felix made the call at Akugbene ward 9 while addressing a large crowd of party supporters.
He said, “the task to conduct successful elections anywhere in the world is the responsibility of all stakeholders in the polity. They should not see election as a do or die affair”.
The Chairmanship flag bearer maintained that the Governor’s effort to strengthen local government administration in the state through democratically elected representatives is to speed-up development at the grassroots.
While thanking the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Nicholas Mutu for the hitch-free PDP primaries that threw him up as the party’s flag bearer, Chief Oluwole advised other aspirants who vied for the party’s ticket to embrace the outcome of the primaries in good fate and collectively work towards the party’s victory in the October polls.
Oluwole who also lauded the party chieftains and other stakeholders for their support during the primaries, promised to work closely with them to ensure that the party wins.
