Microblogging site, Twitter, says it is deeply committed to Nigeria and pleased to have been restored for everyone in the country.
In a terse statement released today, Thursday January 13, in reaction to the lifting of its suspension by the Federal Government of Nigeria, Twitter noted that its mission in Nigeria and other parts of the world, was to serve the public conservation.
The statement averred: “We are pleased that Twitter has been restored for everyone in Nigeria. Our mission in Nigeria and around the world, is to serve the public conservation.
“We are deeply committed to Nigeria, where Twitter is used for commerce, cultural engagement and civic participation”.
