A former President of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates and Itsekiri Rights’ activist, Comrade Alero Naomi Tenumah, has lost her beloved mother, Mrs. O. Bessie Esimaje (Nee Akumagba).
Fresh Angle International understands that Late Mrs. O. Bessie Esimaje (Nee Akumagba) who was born in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State to the family of Awani and Akumagba, died yesterday in the United States of America at the age of 72, after a protracted illness.
She worked with Delta State Hospital Management Board and retired as a Theatre Nurse.
“My mother served God, till the very last second of her life. She was beautiful, both inside and outside. She was a peace loving woman, even when it wasn’t convenient for her. She lived a low profile life, very humble, open, a giver and above all, a preacher of God's word.
“My mother would inconvenience her kids, just to see others happy. Those that know her, ask me often, if truly she was my biological mother, because we were from two different world. My mother was super sweet, super kind and full of empathy. This is the most painful thing, I can imagine would happen to me. Mummy, the last few hours, have been difficult for us your kids. You were a good mother”, Alero Tenumah, lamented.
