Fire allegedly triggered by an insane woman, has wrecked Iron Market, beside Main ( Dore) Market in Warri, Delta State, Fresh Angle International can report.
A member of Our Editorial Team, who was at the scene of the devastating inferno today, Sunday January 23, was told by one of the victims, Mrs. Philomena Ona, as at 4:15pm that the blaze allegedly began around 2pm today, when the insane woman who was clearing refuse at the market premises, started cooking at same time, causing the fire to envelope the dry refuse, which immediately spread to other shops in the market.

Though the pieces of information were still sketchy as at the time of this report, it was gathered that the entire foodstuffs' market was completely razed and efforts by the state fire service with limited water, wasn't enough to save traders in the market, losses running into millions of naira.
Both perishable and non - perishable food items are sold in the market, which is opposite Eco Bank by Warri Main Market.
