6th anniversary: Buba rates Gov. Bello’s performance high

The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba, has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his remarkable achievement in the last six year.

Our Kogi State Correspondent reports that Buba, who gave the commendation in a statement, Thursday January 27, while felicitating with Governor Bello on his fruitful achievement in the last six years in office, said Kogi State is blessed with a leader, who wants the best for his people.

The Commissioner who noted that before Governor Bello assumes the position as Governor,  Kogi State was lacking in terms of infrastructural development, human and capital development, adding that, when he came on board, the narrative changed.

According to her, the last six years in Kogi State under the present administration have changed the phase of governance adding that, the people now feel the true dividends of democracy for electing a leader who was committed to the plight of the masses.

The Commissioner also added that, Governor Bello has continued to gives priority to the plight of Women, Youths and People living with disabilities, adding that, no administration has achieved such fit in the history of Kogi State.

She explained further that, the ambition of Governor Bello to take the mantle of leadership come 2023 in Nigeria is divine, stressing that, it wasn't surprising that, all sector of the country including youths,  Women, and many more wants Governor Bello to improve on the legacy of President Muhmmadu  Buhari.

Buba averred further that when Governor Bello assumes the leadership of the number one citizen of the country, Nigeria will witness total transformation in terms of security, economic, human and capital development as being enjoined in Kogi State.

"We are really happy for our amiable Governor who has made the whole nation proud for his developmental stride in Kogi State  in the last six years. Look at our road, schools and many more. They are presently wearing a face lift all thanks to a Man who has the fear of God and is willing to sacrifice his last kobo to see that our State get the best their have always envisaged.

" Many projects have been completed while several are ongoing. Our People are really happy with the state of transformation in the last six year. I must say this. Governor Bello has performed more than any leader since Kogi was created. Women in Kogi State are happy and prayed to almighty Allah that, come 2023, all we will be saying is President Yahaya Bello"she added.
