He mentioned the introduction of Bank Verification Number, BVN, ensuring prompt and adequate release of fund by the CBN for the various infrastructural development projects executed by the Buhari administration (both completed and on-going) initiating and managing economically viable programmes of the Central Bank of Nigeria, such as CBN-MAAN Anchor Borrowers' Programme, ABP, resulting in the 2021 unveiling of the Nation's First Maize Pyramid in Katsina and the recent Rice pyramid at Abuja, by the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria, RIFAN, as some of the achievements of Emefiele.

The National Coordinator, ‘Push 4 Emefiele 2023 Presidency, added: “The ranking of Nigeria's economy as number one in Africa, despite our security challenges, is due largely to Godwin Emefiele's dynamic policies, in administering the CBN. He launched the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme, TIES, with a charge to beneficiaries to utilize the loans. No doubt, this scheme has benefitted a sizeable number of our youths, who dominate our population. He created the CBN Wheat Programme, targeting $2 billion in FOREX savings. The programme, is expected to benefit over 150,000 farmers and would be implemented in 15 States of the Federation for a start.

“The creative financing initiatives, solar energy interventions, family house ownership scheme, the interventions to cushion the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy, firms and individuals, are other critical inventions of Godwin Emefiele led CBN, indicative of a leader ready to serve all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion and political divides.

“The recently established “100 for 100 PPP loan” policy of the CBN under Emefiele, was introduced to help create jobs and do everything possible to supply foreign cash for the import of plants and machinery. The scheme, would complement President Muhammadu Buhari’s ambition to create millions of jobs and make loans available at low rates for lengthy periods of time.

“Our Commercial and Micro Finance Banks, are getting stronger, to compete favourably with their counterparts outside the country, thanks to Emefiele's sterling leadership qualities. He has built the right business and economic, cum political network, across the six geo - political zones of the country, a quality needed to heal wounds and reduce the insecurity challenge we are experiencing in the country.

“Nigeria recorded an annual Gross Domestic Product, GDP, growth of 3.4 per cent in 2021, representing the first annual growth since the COVID-19 pandemic induced recession of 2020 and the strongest growth in seven years since 2014. This was achievable, due largely to the flexible dexterity of Mr. Godwin Emefiele, as Governor of CBN”.

Barr. Okojie, said: “Emefiele is the man to rely on, the mention of his name for the 2023 Presidency, is already shaking the system. I want to appeal to people of Edo State and the entire country, to support Emefiele, a true personality, who understands Nigeria’s economy. He has built network across the six geopolitical zones across the country”.
