Just In: Serial thief caught while trying to sell stolen motorcycle in spare parts market


A suspected serial thief (name unknown) was this morning, Friday April 1, caught at the Spare Parts Market in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, while trying to sell a motorcycle he allegedly stole last night, at Ugolo Community in Okpe Local Government Area, also of Delta State, Fresh Angle International can report.

A resident of the area, who told Your Rising International Tabloid on telephone this morning, Friday April 1, how the suspect had allegedly be raiding the Africa of Peace area in Ugolo, Okpe in recent times, said an Aboki man (an Hausa man) whose motorcycle was stolen last night, instinctively went to lay ambush alongside his kinsman at the Spare Parts Market in Effurun, pretending they wanted to buy scraps of motorcycle. One of the traders at the Spare Parts Market that they discussed with, regarding their supposed intention to buy motorcycle scraps, told them to wait that he was expecting a motorcycle for the usual dismantling and possible sales.

According to Our Source, it was while they (Abokis) were waiting for the delivery, the trader told them about, that the suspect whose name was unknown as at the time of this report, rolled down the stolen motorcycle and he was immediately caught in the trap.

It was gathered that the thief was severely beaten and could have been killed, save for the intervention of the vigilante in Ugolo, who came and took him away.

Mother of the suspect, was said to have ran to the scene, where she allegedly said the action of her son, was as a result of influence of witchcraft.

This Newspaper understands that the suspect, was accused of being responsible for the theft of a Toyota Car and musical equipment belonging to Mountain of Fire Prayer Ministry at the Africa of Peace area in Ugolo, Okpe, which occurred four nights ago, apart from several other reported theft in the area.
