The Board of Trustees of The Participation Initiative for Behavioural Change in Development, PIBCID, has appointed Mrs. Rachel Remilekun Akande as its acting Chief Executive Officer.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Mrs. Akande takes over from Mrs. Halima O. Sadiq.
Akande’s appointment takes immediate effect, according to a statement by the PIBCID Chairman Board of Trustees, Dr. Usman Mohammed Momoh.
The statement reads: “This is to inform the general public and particularly our donours and partners that Mrs. Rachel Remilekun Akande, is now the Acting Executive Director for PIBCID. She took over from Halima O. Sadiq.
“Until her appointment, Mrs. Akande was the Senior Finance Officer with the organisation. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a Master Degree in Business Administration.
“We humbly request our partners, government agencies. Non - governmental agencies, various communities that we have direct linkage, to take note and extend cooperation to the new leadership".
