Warri: Ariyo, Okudolor to lead onslaught against PDP

Popular Warri based legal practitioner and rights activist, Barr. Robinson Ariyo and Chief Vincent Okudolor, both of the All Progressives Congress, APC have been confirmed by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC to lead the onslaught against the ruling PDP in the February 2015 polls, Fresh Angle International can report.

According to the list just published today January 2, 2015 at the INEC office in Warri, Delta State, Barr. Robinson Ariyo of the APC whose popularity appears to be soaring even amongst some PDP faithful and a certain Toju Binitie of Social Democratic Party, SDP are poised to confront the incumbent member and surprise candidate of the PDP, Hon. Omawumi Beatrice Udoh for the Warri South Constituency 1 seat.

The INEC list also reveal that renowned “Warri boy” and ex-PDP Chieftain, Chief Vincent Jackson Okudolor who got the APC ticket, Bright Akpobome Obodo of Labour Party and Moses Amida of Social Democrat are gearing up to battle Hon. Dennis Omovie for Warri South Constituency II seat.

For the Warri Federal Constituency seat, four ladies: Barr. Omasan Margaret Agbajoh of APC, Kate Ogbodu of ACD, Mrs. Kate Eje of Mega Progressive Peoples Party and Oyemike Irene of African Democratic Congress have been cleared by INEC to flex their muscle with Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of the PDP, who scored 70 votes to defeat Barr. Val Arenyeka who garnered 58 votes in the PDP primaries held at the Warri City Stadium.

As at the time of this report, list of candidates cleared to contest for Senatorial Seats in the State where yet to be published, but an official of INEC hinted Fresh Angle International that the list of Senatorial candidates will be published tomorrow, Saturday January 3, 2015.
