Ogboru, Wilkie’s banners torn to shreds overnight from two-storey building
Remains of the ripped-off banner of Oniyetsoritse Elijah Wilkie

Barely a month to the February 2015 polls, the 7 by 6 feet banner of Delta State Labour Party governorship candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru and the Delta South Labour Party Senatorial candidate, Oniyetsoritse Elijah Wilkie’s 20 by 7 feet campaign banner, was torn to shreds from a two-storey building overninght within three days at the Labour Party Senatorial Campaign Headquarters, 52 Cemetery Road, Warri, Delta State, Fresh Angle International can exclusively report.

The campaign banner which was tied to the iron barricade on the verander of the second floor of the two storey building was torn in such a way that vital information of the senatorial candidate as well as his picture was ripped off last night, exactly three days after that of Chief Great Ogboru suffered the same fate Saturday night, even though entrance to the Labour Party Delta South Campaign Secretariat is constantly under lock and key at night.

The Delta South Labour party Senatorial candidate, Oniyetsoritse Wilkie, a legal practitioner, while reacting to the development in an exclusive chat with Fresh Angle International in Warri, said that his staff noticed the ugly development this morning when they resumed work after closing 7:00 pm yesterday.

Wilkie who vowed that he would not be intimidated by anybody or organization in his determination to seek the mandate of the deprived people of Delta South Senatorial district, disclosed that some persons have been tearing his posters in some areas in the district.

Investigations by Fresh Angle International reveal that Wilkie’s emergence as Labour Party Senatorial candidate for Delta South has been causing anxiety to his main opposition candidates: Senator James Manager of the PDP and Prince Yemi Emiko of the APC.
