As the race to unseat Senator James Manager of the PDP thickens, one time Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. J.F.K. Omatsone has joined the race for Delta South Senatorial seat currently being occupied by the fourth term seeking James Manager of the PDP whose popularity is contentious amongst Ijaw, Itsekiri and Isoko of the district who have a single tenure rotation agreement yet to be occupied by the Itsekiri in this political dispensation.
Fresh Angle International reliably gathered that Hon. J.F.K. who contested the same position picked the Social Democratic Party, SDP ticket to battle the incumbent, Senator James Manager.
The former Speaker's surprise emergence will make him the fourth Itsekiri to declare interest for the position,with Prince Yemi Emiko and Barr. Temisan Omatseye battling for APC ticket, while Itse Wilkie has the Labour party ticket.
