A youth wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on the platform of Bomadi Local Government Area Federated Youth Movement, BLGAFYM, Delta State has vowed that there will be no going back on the re-election of Hon. Nicholas Mutu as the member  representing Bomadi/ Patani Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

The group declared that Hon. Mutu’s track records of development in the National Assembly has attracted reasonable development to the Niger Delta region, hence it is imperative to re-elect him in order to save Bomadi Constituency from the hands of desperate politicians.

In a statement released to Journalists in Bomadi, President of the group, Francis Akambi and its Secretary General, Lucky Ofrolade said at a time the region is faced with huge development gap, the group is taking its message to the electorate, with a view to mobilizing support for the candidacy of Mutu.

The statement added,” We are not talking about how many times he has gone. To us as a people that is not narrow-minded. We are talking about dividends of democracy for the greater number, that is our call on the people of the constituency to come out and vote Mutu based on his achievements in the areas of attracting infrastructural development and his concerns for the future of the younger generation”.

According to BLGAFYM, Mutu as Chairman, House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC in the House of Representatives has done so much to deserve another mandate of the people, adding that, “there is an ongoing employment opportunity programme of Mutu to absorb graduate youth, many have benefitted, and then there is scholarship for students of the area. He engages the youth through sporting activities to enhance their moral education and ethical responsibility, the list is unending. Under his watchful eyes, NDDC has ensured the provision of infrastructures in communities and villages in the 9 oil producing states in the South-South. His re-election is inevitable to save the constituency from hands of desperate politicians”.
