Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped one Chris Oghojafor, a final year male student of Delta State University, Abraka.
Fresh Angle International gathered that Oghojafor, an Industrial Chemistry student, was kidnapped on Friday night, April 22 in Abraka Community, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learnt that the kidnappers, called the mother of the victim to demand for fifty-million-naira ransom, but later reduced their demand to three million naira (N3millon) after negotiation.
Father of Chris Oghojafor, Mr. John Oghojafor Esq, who is a Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, confirmed the report to Our Correspondent at the Delta State University, Campus 3 in Abraka.
The legal practitioner said: "They kidnapped my son since on Friday night. They called my wife to demand for N50million. Later, they negotiated to three million naira (N3millon)."
Mr. John Oghojafor, appealed to the kidnappers to release his son unhurt, saying, “he is just a student, who is planning his life and future to be a better person in the society”.
