All is now set for a posthumous award to be conferred on late political icon, patriach of the Rewane dynasty and Itsekiri leader, late Alfred Ogbeyiwa Rewane, acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 Presidential election, late M.K.O Abiola and Chief Bola Ige for their contribution to the consolidation of democracy and National development.
The event which is being put together by The GOODLUCKTHUMB with the theme "Celebrating heroes of democracy" is slated for tomorrow Sunday March 22 at Epe Recreational Ground,Epe Town in Lagos State by 12 noon.
According to a statement released today by the South-West Coordinator of The GOODLUCKTHUMB, Prince David Aboyowa Omaghomi, late Pa. Anthony Enahoro, Mrs. Kudirat Abiola as well as former Lagos State governorship candidate, Mr. Funsho Williams who died in the course of democracy will also be honoured.

The statement added that the concert/rally which is one of series to galvanize Nigerians in honour of true democrats, will also witnessed the conferment of award to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for piloting transformation in Nigeria's March towards greatness.
