Delta 2023: Pro-Itsekiri group, IPM backs Omo-Agege

A pro-Itsekiri socio-political pressure group, Itsekiri Political Movement (IPM) for Omo Agege 2023, has thrown its full weight behind the Deputy Senate President, Rt. (Hon.) Ovie Augustine Omo-Agege, to become the next Delta State Governor: “Due to his sagacity in politics, competence, tactics and doggedness”.

IPM’s position was contained in an electronic statement sent to Fresh Angle International this evening, Thursday May 5.

The statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of Itsekiri Political Movement for Omo Agege 2023, Akatakpo Omatseye and Ajofotan Omagbemi Jonathan, respectively, noted: “The group after painstakingly analysing the personality of HE Sen.  Ovie Augustine Omo-Agege as a great achiever to his people in Delta Central Senatorial district and Nigeria at large, throw our full weight behind him; due to his sagacity in politics, competence, tactics and doggedness. We consider him best fit for the number one seat in DELTA STATE.

“We are convinced that with his antecedent in the Red Chambers i.e, the level of developmental projects he has attracted and executed round Delta Central Senatorial District, without sentiment, he shall do more for the state if voted massively as Delta State governor come 2023.

“We are calling on all Itsekiri and none Itsekiri home and abroad to join hands and support our father, brother, son and uncle to the exalted position of the governor of Delta state come 2023. We will be sure of development in Delta State, especially Warri Kingdom when we massively support our son's ambition to fruition.

“Our conviction of pledging our support for our next governor, is simply because our principal is, smart, young, result oriented, purposeful, determined, focused, fully understand the terrain of Delta state and pains of the people, which he is all out to attend to swiftly”.
