ACWCN gets official recognition from the Olu of Warri

Members of the Association of Coastal and Waterways Communities of Nigeria, ACWCN, Delta State Chapter, have received official recognition and blessing of the Olu of Warri, His Imperial Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

 

Fresh Angle International understands that ACWCN received the endorsement, when they paid a working visit to the revered Monarch, Thursday May 19 at the Olu Palace, Warri.

The Olu of Warri, after listening to the remarks of the Delta State Chairman of Association of Coastal and Waterways Communities of Nigeria, ACWCN, Engr. (Dcn) Tuoyo Woligho, reportedly directed the Palace Secretary to effect official recognition of the association.

 

The King, urged members of ACWCN to work peacefully and feel free to consult him whenever the need arises.

 

Earlier in his remarks, Delta State Chairman of ACWCN, Engr. (Dcn) Tuoyo Woligho, briefed the Olu of Warri, about the programmes and goals of the association, appealing to the Warri Monarch for his support, counsel and blessings, to enable ACWCN actualize its core objectives within Warri Kingdom.

 

This Newspaper can report that the visit, was in continuation of ACWCN’s visits to critical stakeholders and relevant authorities in the state.

Members of the association, had paid similar visit to His Royal Majesty, Major General Mujakperuo Agho (Rtd), Orhue 1, the Orodje of Okpe kingdom.

 

The National Chairman of ACWCN, Comrade Nicholas Bawo Ighomi, National Organizing Secretary, Comrade Bawo Otirikpe, other members of the Delta State Executive Council of the association and Chairmen of the body in the 25 local government areas of Delta State, were among members, present during the courtesy visit.
