A Pro General Muhammadu Buhari political pressure group in the Niger Delta, Buhari Movement For Change, BMC has described Presidential election and Senatorial results from Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North Local Government Areas released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has “concocted and fraudulent”, insisting, “it was the highest form of rigging”.
In a statement released in Warri on behalf of the group, Public Relations Officer of Buhari Movement For Change, BMC, Dr. Emiko Ofuyakpone declared that “majority of people in Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North Local Government Areas openly showed their desire for change by voting Buhari/Osinbajo enmasse”.
The statement vowed that members of the group “will contest the Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North results as declared by INEC in the Tribunal to correct the subvert-ion of the people’s wish,” with a view to “rewriting the wrong” and “sending a strong signal to members of the opposition party that the All Progressives Congress is solidly on ground in the entire Delta State and the three Warri Local Government Areas in particular”.
