Less than 24hours to tomorrow's gubernatorial and State Assembly polls, step-mother of Chief Ayirimi Emami, the Akulagba of Warri, Mrs. Elizabeth Emami and 19 others were today abducted and molested at the Escravos River in Warri South West Local Government Area by militants believed to be acting on the orders of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo A.K.A Tompolo allegedly in collaboration with some prominent Ugborodo indigenes.
Report says it took the intervention of security agencies to rescue Chief Emami's step-mother and the other 19 passengers on board the boat.
Driver of the boat is said to be in critical condition following the severe beating he went through in the hands of the attackers.
A close associate of Chief Ayirimi Emami who spoke on condition of anonymity claimed the abduction /molestation is aimed at stopping Chief Emami who only just dumped the PDP for APC from mobilizing indigenes of Ugborodo and his supporters to the community from voting APC candidates in tomorrow's polls.
