Three gunmen at about midday today kidnapped Mrs. Caroline Botosan, wife of prominent Ugborodo leader, Mr. Isaac Botosan at  Ekpen Street  by Okere in Warri, Delta State,  Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.

The three-man gang came in a black VENTO-GL car with Registration No: AKU-942 AA, Delta and shot sporadically into the air to scare people before kidnapping Mrs. Botosan, who was driving the Venza car her husband bought for her as birthday gift.

Attracted by the sound of gun shots, Mr. Isaac Botosan’s driver, Muhammed Adama drove to the scene with his boss’ Hunda Jeep, double-crossed and hit the kidnappers’ car with a view to intercepting them. While this was going on, the driver of the Vento car who is believed to be a member of the kidnappers’ gang opened the door of the car and ran into a nearby street with a gun allegedly in his possession. He was chased by youths in the area, caught and handed over to the police, while the other two members of the gang drove Mrs. Botosan away in her own car.

Mr. Isaac Botosan’s driver, Muhammed Adama narrated his experience thus, “Na long story ooo, na my Oga wife naim kidnappers kidnap so, but I use my Oga Jeep take bracket them and one of them when drive the car, open the door, naim he com begin to dey run, throw away him gun, but the community youths don catch am and Police don carry am go”.

An eyewitness (name withheld) told Our Correspondent  that  Mrs. Botosan was heading to her house with her children in the car when the kidnappers struck and they immediately asked the children to come down from the car before they drove their abductee away.

Confirming the abduction of his wife on Phone, Mr. Botosan said through the confession of the driver, security agents and officers of the state anti-kidnap squad are currently combing the Agbarho community bush and its surroundings to rescue his wife, while security sources said they are already on top of the situation, though were not prepared to disclose details of their investigations as at press time.

Information reaching Fresh Angle International reveals that another member of the kidnap gang has been apprehended in Agbarho, while the Police is stepping up investigation to track other members of the gang and possibly rescue Mrs. Botosan.
