The Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) has presented certificate of return to the Edo North Senator Elect, Major Francis Alimikhena.
Presenting the certificate at the INEC headquarters in Abuja yesterday, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Ishmael Akpani congratulated Barrister Francis Alimikhena, saying that power comes from God and when God says a thing, it must surely come to pass.
The Commissioner urged politicians not to see power as a do or die business but to always accept the outcome of election result in the best interest of their constituency, even as he encouraged those who lost out to keep their dreams alive and not feel defeated
While thanking the Commission for the peaceful conduct of the just concluded election, the Edo North Senator-Elect, Major Francis Alimikhena described his victory as a victory for the Edo North people, calling on those who lost out to shun grudge and work with him in the quest to move the district forward.
He called on people of Edo North to come out with lofty ideas and opinion for them to reason together and collectively move Edo North to the next level.
