BudgIT puts FG’s Non-Oil Revenue for 2021 at N1.793tn


 

A Civic Organization that applies technology to intersect citizens’ engagement with institutional improvement to facilitate societal change, BudgIT, has put the Non-Oil revenue of the Federal Government in 2021 at N1.793tn, saying the total revenues (excl Govt Enterprises) was N4.79tn.

 

In a statement released this afternoon, Friday August 5, BudgIT, stated that Independent Revenues, amounted to N1.25tn, Signature Bonus, was N381bn and N208bn was from NLNG, with Spécial Levies, making up N138bn and Oil Revenues, amounting to N998bn.

 

The statement obtained by Fresh Angle International from the verified twitter handle of BudgIT, further put the breakdown as follows; “Total Expenditure (excl. Govt Enterprises) N.07tn, Debt Service: N 4.22tn, Personnel Cost: N 3.04tn, Capital Exp: N 2.89tn, Statutory Transfers: N496.52bn, Other Service Votes: N404bn, Overheads: N 375bn, Pensions: N 356bn and Social Intervention Programme: N 216bn”.
