The People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State, has nominated Barrister Aliu Isah, as the party’s State Assistant Publicity Secretary.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that Barrister Isah, replaces Hon. Muhammed Kabir, who resigned his position as the State Deputy Publicity Secretary, to pursue his electioneering campaign.
The nomination of Barrister Isah, was contained in a letter dated 5th August 2022 and addressed to the Kogi PDP Secretariat in Lokoja.
The letter was signed by the party’s Chairman in Ofu Local Government Area, Mr. Inda Audu Agbonika and Assistant Secretary of the Local Government, Elder Alidu Ube.
Fresh Angle International understands that Barrister Aliu Isah’s nomination was reached after an extensive meeting held by party Stakeholders, Local Government Excos and the Party Chairman from Igalaogba District of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Some of the party excos who endorsed the nomination of Barrister Isah are; Adaji John, Abutu Sunday, Hon. Sumaila Ademu, Hon. Sumaila Damodi, Idoko Edogbo, Moses Amedu, Bala Unekwu Suleiman and Etubi Shugei.
Other stakeholders of the party who reportedly signed for Barrister Isah include; Hon. Joe Musa, Hon. Sunday Simon, Hon. Mike Abuka, Hon. Okpanachi Attah, Hon. Sumaila Ademu and Hon. Shaibu Zekeri.
Meanwhile, The People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State, has reinstated Hon. Abutu Daniel as the PDP Local Government Secretary.
The reinstatement of Hon. Abutu Daniel, was contained in a letter written to the State Secretariat of PDP, which was signed by the Local Government Chairman, Mr. Inda Audu Agbonika and Assistant Secretary to the Local Government, Elder Alidu Ube.
The letter, titled ‘REINSTATEMENT OF HON ABUTU DANIEL AS THE PDP LOCAL GOVERNMENT SECRETARY’, reads inter-alia: “We wish to notify your Office that upon the receipt of the Withdrawal of Resignation/Assumption of Duty Letter from Hon Abutu Daniel, who went to participate in the House of Assembly Primary and he lost.
“The Local Government Executive Committee have met and resolved that Hon. Abutu Daniel, should resume His office as the PDP Local Government Secretary in the interest of the party and oneness”.
