Akatakpo emerges Warri North APC Chairman, vows to ensure victory of party's candidates in 2023 polls

The immediate past Organizing Secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Omatseye Akatakpo, earlier today, Saturday August 13, emerged as substantive chairman of the party in Warri North Local Government Area.

Comrade Akatakpo's emergence, was sequel to a unanimous agreement by other members of the local government area executive, key ward exco members and other APC leaders, present during a meeting held today at the APC local government area secretariat, besides Dancing Ladies by Old Koko Garage in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area.

Secretary of APC in Warri North Local Government Area, Siko Eyenmi Powell, told Fresh Angle International in an exclusive chat that Comrade Akatakpo took over from the Vice Chairman of APC in Warri North, Elder Philip Ukuto, who acted as Chairman for over three months, following the resignation of the party LGA Chairman, Hon. David Atie.

Hon. Atie, reportedly resigned his position in April to pursue his House of Assembly ambition and had since emerged APC House of Assembly candidate for Warri North Constituency ahead of the general elections next year.

In a swift reaction shortly after his emergence, Comrade Akatakpo,, averred: " I am ready to work for the progress of the party in synergy with other members of the LGA executive and ward excos. We will work towards ensuring all APC candidates, from House of Assembly to Presidency, emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections."
