NUT thanks Olu of Warri for donation of land for its Secretariat

The Nigeria Union of Teacher, NUT, Warri South Local Government Chapter, has thanked the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, for donation of a parcel of land at Ubeji in Warri, for the construction of the union’s permanent secretariat.

 

Our Senior Correspondent, reports that the Warri South NUT leadership, thanked the Monarch, when they paid him homage, Tuesday August 23, at the Olu Palace in Warri, Delta State.

 

Fresh Angle International understands that the revered Warri Monarch, announced the donation recently when leaders of the NUT in Warri South, visited him at the Olu Palace, Warri.

 

The King, assured the teachers of support in making the quality of education affordable and accessible, by supporting efforts that would improve the welfare and capacity of teachers in Warri Kingdom.

 

The Chairman of NUT Warri South Chapter, Comrade (Mrs.) Gladys Omagbemi Aguarabureye, eulogized the Warri Monarch, describing him as a digital traditional ruler, “who has bought modernity to Royalty”.

While appreciating the Olu of Warri, for donation of the parcel of land, Comrade Agusraguaye, stated that teachers in Warri South, will have a befitting place for their meetings, once the permanent secretariat is constructed.

 

The Warri South NUT Chairman was accompanied by the former Chairman NUT Warri South, Comrade Ishmael Confidence Ikuejawa, Secretary of NUT Warri South, Comrade Beecroft Victor, Comrade Bola, Comrade Joshua Menekporo , Comrade Efele Bola, Comrade Ejor Joseph, Comrade Susan Akperi, Comrade Queen Norma, Comrade Omozogbe Tessy, Comrade Jones Lawrenta, Comrade Ojobo Anison , Comrade Mukoro Henry , Comrade Hector Atigan, Comrade Abeson  William, Comrade Edwin Ikioya, Comrade Jolomi Enemegin, Comrade Mode Utomi, Comrade Awani Christy, Comrade Omereye Godswill, Comrade Odowu Daibo, Comrade Mrs. Fine fregene  and Comrade Doris Obaju.
