President-Elect, Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo will be sworn in today, May 29, 2015 at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Buhari won the race to be Nigeria’s new leader after defeating incumbent President, Goodluck Jonathan in the March 28 elections.
Here are 5 things you should know about the inauguration:
1. It will hold at the Eagle Square in Abuja
2. The ceremony will begin at 9am
3. About 50 world leaders are expected to attend the event
4. 4 airports, Abuja, Lagos, Minna and Kaduna, have been reserved for arriving dignitaries
5. The event is expected to gulp a whopping N2 billion, according to the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub- Committee of the Presidential Inauguration Planning Committee, Edem Duke.
