Delta Government approves establishment of 9 primary, 13 secondary schools

Delta State Government, has approved the establishment of 9 primary and 13 secondary schools, making up a total of 22 new schools.

Fresh Angle International can report that Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads) Noel Omodon, made the disclosure Thursday September 15, while briefing journalists at the end of the State Executive Council (EXCO) meeting presided over by the State Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro.

The Commissioner, emphasized that the new primary and secondary schools, were approved, “in response to the demand for schools in areas, where such educational facilities were lacking”.

Below are the approved schools:

The new primary schools are; Owhe Primary School, Okorowhe – Okpe local government area, Govt Primary School, Mile 5, Asaba - Oshimili South local government area, Ovwodokpokpor-Ogor Primary School, Ovwodokpokpor-Ogor - Ughelli North local government area, Umuseti-Ogbe Primary School, Kwale- Ndokwa West local government area, Ugbolegin Primary School, Ugborodo - Warri South West local government area, Otumara Primary School, Otumara - Warri South West local government area, Leku Prim Sch Leku/Torukubu-Adagbene – Burutu local government area, Evwreke Primary School, Ugolo-Okpe – Okpe local government area and Oghene Egoh Primary school, Urhede-Uwheru - Ughelli North local government area.

Olota Secondary School - Olota - Ughelli South, Ukpiovwin Secondary School- Ukpiovwin – Udu local government area, Sanubi Secondary School, Sanubi-Orogun - Ughelli North local government area, Erhuwaren Secondary School, Erhuwaren - Ughelli South local government area, Alifekede Secondary School, Alifekede - Ika South local government area, Ugolo Secondary School, Evwriyen – Okpe local government area, Awamba Secondary School, Awamba - Warri North local government area, Udueni Secondary School, Olomoro - Isoko South local government area, Ikpere Secondary School, Ugborodo - Warri South West local government area, Orhere Secondary School, Orhere - Ughelli North local government area, Obioma mixed Secondary School Owa-Abbi – Ukwuani local government area, Amiemedi Secondary School Okuetolor – Okpe local government area and Esaba Secondary School, Esaba - Ughelli South local government area.
