Idowu lists gains of pipelines' surveillance contract awarded to Tompolo after engaging stakeholders in Ilaje

The Chairman/ CEO, Multi Crocodile Squad Limited, Chief Asonja Idowu, says increase in Nigeria's revenue profile as well as security of lives and properties, are some of the shared benefits the government and governed stand to gain in view of the pipelines' surveillance contract awarded to a company belonging to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo.

 

Chief Idowu, made the assertion in a communique released after, ' a widely celebrated two - day community engagement, sensitization/ enlightenment" with stakeholders such as male and female youths, representatives of communities' associations,, students' associations, market women, artisans and most importantly, kings in Ilaje areas of Ondo State.

 

Whist calling on crude oil thieves to stop ," the illegal exploration of our Nation's oil wells" , Chief Idowu, averred: "The Federal Government stands to gain immensely from the contact awarded to the People's General.

"The shared benefits as willingly mentioned by discussants are;

 

* It will boost the revenue of the federation, which in turn will facilitate speedy and all-round infrastructural development and provision of basic social amenities.

 

* Security of lives and properties

 

* It will add value to Nigeria's crude oil production among OPEC member organizations."

 

He added : " It is of utmost concern to the sons and daughters of the Niger-Delta region of laje extraction on how to give unalloyed and unflinching support to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, so that illegal oil bunkering become a thing of the past in the creek, particularly we in Ondo State are against this killing tool of our collective development

 

" I am totally against bonfire, selling and transport of crude oil in and out of llaje communities and every other designated areas within the Niger-Delta region.

 

" The communities in llaje, one of Niger-Delta Oil Producing Areas, are well equipped with the modus operandi of the pipeline security surveillance, under the leadership of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, the Ebidouwei of the Niger Delta. We shall key into the job specification as contained in the MoU signed between the Federal Government and High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo."
