Deputy Senate President and All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for Delta State in the 2023 general elections, Rt. Hon. Ovie Omo - Agege, says Delta State is backward, underdeveloped and burdened with huge debts, despite its huge oil and non - oil earnings.

Fresh Angle International can report that the APC Chieftain, made the declaration in a tweet few minutes ago, titled: " The Case For A New Delta 1."

He stated: "Delta State has been governed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since 1999.

Despite our huge oil and non-oil earnings, rich human capital and potentials for wealth creation, Delta State is backward, underdeveloped and burdened with serious unemployment, huge debts, rising crime rate, decayed infrastructure, and widespread poverty.

As a result, Delta is now at a major crossroad of unprecedented socio- political and economic decline. This sums up PDP's sustained bad governance in Delta for almost 24 years now."
