There are strong indications that the newly sworn in Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa may have dumped Itsekiri for Secretary to the State Government slot.
The decision to dump Itsekiri with a possibility of announcing an Urhobo man for the position later today is a fallout of dirty lobby by Itsekiri leaders in PDP.
Fresh Angle International reliably gathered from a credible source in Asaba, the State capital this morning that rather than form a common front and pick one credible candidate, the Itsekiri PDP leaders went to Okowa in different groups, canvassing for different candidates and even blackmailing their fellow brothers in a bid to woo Governor Okowa.
The Urhobos, particularly Chief Monday Igbuya, who we understand has a case to answer in the United States, has already been penciled down for the position of Speaker Of Delta State House of Assembly, thus leaving Uduaghan's kinsmen licking their wounds.
