The General Manager, Government & Public Affairs, Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL, Mr. Deji Haastrup has stressed that education and good health plays important role in the development of a country, hence CNL is making sure adequate manpower are produced to develop Nigeria.
The CNL Boss made the assertion during the declaration of the Advanced Writing & Reporting Skills, A.W.A.RE.S -15 and the second edition of the Chevron Nigeria Limited sponsored Programme at the Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, Monday June 22, 2015.
According to Mr. Haastrup, the Nation can only get better if the people are exposed and given advance education to better their skills, noting that the A.W.A.R.E.S-15 and the second edition of the CNL Sponsored programme will contribute more quality to developmental journalism practice in Nigeria.
He enjoined Journalists participating in the programme to avail themselves the opportunity of attending the class and adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding the programme.
