Ilajes in Delta State under the auspices of Concerned Ilaje Coastal Communities’ Trust Foundation in Ugborodo, Warri South- West Local Government Area have sued for more patience from Nigerians, saying the President Muhammadu Buhari/ Vice President Yemi Osinbajo administration needs more time to “nip in the bud several anomalies done by some members of the past administration”.

In a statement signed by Chairman and Public Relations Officer of Concerned  Ilaje  Coastal Communities’ Trust Foundation, Prince Abayomi Ogunfeyimi and Adesuyi Adewole respectively, shortly after their extra ordinary Congress in Warri Friday July 3, they asserted that the election of President Muhammadu Buhari has rejuvenated the hope of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora because he “demonstrated exceptional qualities” in his, “previous assignments”.

They appealed to President Buhari to streamline the matters of National importance, particularly in the area of “security, anti-corruption and creation of jobs through the establishment and reviving of industries”.

While expressing optimism that the APC leadership, anchored by President Buhari will soon effectively tackle the leadership crisis of the National Assembly, the Ilajes in Delta State appealed to the President to pay serious attention to the Escravos EPZ Project in Delta State and the Olokola Project in Ondo State”, stressing that if the two projects are fully executed they are “capable of providing millions of job opportunities for this generation and generations yet unborn”.

They commended President Buhari for the rebirth of the Nation’s four refineries as well as increase in power generation in less than two months in office and enjoined the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara to broker truce with the APC leadership so as to create the right atmosphere for President Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo to provide the positive change Nigerians earnestly desire.
